PROGRAMS FOR SENIORS

The Healthy Living for Seniors program offers free nutrition education and fitness classes tailored to meet the needs of older adults. Designed to empower senior citizens with knowledge and practical skills for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, the program combines engaging educational workshops with low-impact fitness activities.

Participants will learn about balanced meal planning, managing chronic conditions through diet, and strategies for staying active. The fitness classes, including chair yoga, strength-building exercises, and Bingocize®, promote flexibility, balance, and overall well-being in a fun, social environment.

This program not only supports physical health but also encourages social connections and mental wellness, fostering a vibrant community of seniors dedicated to lifelong health.

Bingocize

Bingocize is an engaging program that combines the fun of playing bingo with physical activity and health education. Designed to improve mobility, flexibility, and overall well-being, it is particularly popular among older adults but can be adapted for diverse age groups and abilities. Participants play a modified version of bingo while engaging in simple, evidence-based exercises that promote strength, balance, and coordination.

In addition to physical benefits, Bingocize fosters social interaction and provides an opportunity to learn valuable health information through brief educational segments. By blending entertainment with wellness, Bingocize helps participants stay active, informed, and connected.
