The culinary chef instructor position serves to empower children and families using evidence-based strategies to achieve healthy lives and reduce health disparities. Specific strategies include providing evidence-based education pertaining to kitchen basics, food safety and recipe execution. Using existing teaching materials and curricula, the instructor is responsible for shopping, planning, and implementing programming, including cooking demonstrations, light physical activity instruction, in educational and community settings.

Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist
Full-Time: $30,000 to $33,000 + Benefits 

Promotes a drug-free community by educating youth and families on health issues, primarily Nutrition and wellness in addition to tobacco and substance abuse prevention. Using existing approved teaching materials and curricula, the health educator is responsible for planning and implementing programming in educational settings. The goal of the program is to increase awareness and break the social stigma surrounding mental health and substance abuse.

Project Coordinator/Youth Community Organizer: Substance Abuse Prevention
Full-Time: $32,000 to $36,000 annually + Benefits

Promotes a drug-free community by establishing, strengthening and maintaining efficient and effective collaboration among communities and business groups to support the efforts to prevent and reduce ATOD (alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs) use among youth between the ages of 12 and 25.
